Weekly News Wrap Up (9/14 - 9/18)
Here is all the news from this week in the industry.
Is it just me, or did September go by fast? It is still a bit warmer than I would like, but fall weather is just around the corner! Before I start nerding out over the best time of year, let's get back to talking about news.
There hasn't really been a whole lot this week. TGS is underway in Japan, but there hasn't been a whole lot announced yet. So unfortunately, this weekly post is going to be a bit on the short side.
Kojima Productions Reveals Cast for Physint

One of the big highlights from TGS so far is the reveal of the cast for Hideo Kojima's next big game that is being developed alongside OD. For those unfamiliar with the game, Physint is a return to action-espionage that Kojima built up his reputation with.
The currently unnamed protagonist will be played by Bill Skarsgård, the actor who played Pennywise in It, It Chapter Two, and It: Welcome to Derry. Other actors include Charlee Fraser, Don Lee, and Minami Hamabe. I'm sure other actors will be revealed in time, especially since Physint is still a long way away from release.
World of Warcraft: Forever Beta Launches

Revealed at BlizzCon this year, World of Warcraft: Forever is Blizzard's vision of the idea of Classic+. Anyone who didn't get to go to BlizzCon and play the demo will finally get their chance to check out this new version of the game.
The level cap is currently 20, but it will go up to 30 later on. The beta is quite popular and had a 45+ minute queue on day one. I'm currently playing the beta right now, and I intend to give my impressions in the near future.
Build a Rocket Boy Closes Its Doors

If you haven't heard of them, Build a Rocket Boy is the studio behind the colossal flop that was MindsEye, a game that got rushed out too soon and failed to live up to the hype. They attempted to fix the game, but it wasn't enough, and they are closing their doors.
It is a tragic tale as old as time, but it didn't help that its higher-ups made a spectacle of themselves by insisting that the game failed because of "sabotage" or that everyone else was at fault for the game failing.
That's all for now. I hope you all have a great weekend. See you next time, and stay tuned for more reviews and coverage!
